| Breaking News |  | Clout Raymond and Mutuals Helton Suspended for Fight
Saturday, April 25th, 1981: Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Chicago-Washington contest at Alderman Field. The Clout Palmer Raymond and the Mutuals Paul Helton will have to sit out 5 games for their part in the brawl.
This year Raymond has hit 2 home runs and posted a .318 batting average.

 | Chen Breezes to Shutout Victory
Saturday, April 25th, 1981: According to Bor-zeng Chen of the Atlanta Rebels, "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location." He told his pitching philosophy to sportswriters in the postgame interview after his 3-0 victory over Chicago.
He blanked them on a 3-hitter, allowed 4 walks and had 4 strikeouts. "I really felt comfortable the whole game," Chen said.
His manager echoed his comments, saying, "He hit his spots time and time again."

Thursday, April 23rd, 1981: In an outstanding outing, Johnny Flynn tamed Manhattan on a 2-hit shutout. The The Bronx hurler went the distance, finishing with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 5-0 win.
"He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Manhattan manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today."
