Two New Quick Starts to Get You Through the Winter!
We're always looking for ways to make Out of the Park Baseball even better, so today we added two new Quick Starts to the game:
- A 2012 major league Quick Start that lets you start a season the way it ended in real life, with all trades and other transactions accounted for.
- The Seamheads Laundry League Quick Start, which allows you to recreate the online league that's currently underway with teams managed by ex-major leaguer Jeff Montgomery, ESPN's Eric Karabell and Jerry Crasnick, and others.
You can find the new Quick Starts in Add-Ons Central, which is accessible from the bottom of the main menu or under OOTP in the Game menu while playing a season. In the Add-Ons Central dialog, simply click the Download button next to the add-on you want to use.
Look for Quickstart Game 'Majors 2012 End of Season' and Quickstart Game 'Seamheads Laundry League'.
After successfully downloading the file, the button will show "Install". Click on the button again to install the Quick Start and it will be ready when you click the Quickstart Game button in the main menu.
Remember to keep the Laundry League home page bookmarked and check it a few times a week to see what's happening in this exciting league, where the Pittsburgh Pirates have jumped out to a 30-11 record, led by the stellar pitching of Ray Collins and Chief Bender and Chief Meyers' .386 batting average.
And don't forget to subscribe to the thread on our forum where you'll find all the dynasty reports about the Laundry League. "The key to our team's early success is strong starting pitching," Pirates GM John Farris told us. "Our starters are a combined 21-5 with an ERA of 2.95. When your starters can set the tempo like that, it allows the team to control the game from the start."
