New baseball card template! 1908 Rose Company postcards
I was looking for a unique 1908 set, and found this:
Everything You Want to Know About 1908-09 Rose Company Postcards | Sports Collectors Digest Kind of a cool-looking set, if a bit basic. Reflects the time period pretty well, IMO. This is the best I could get for the pics on the cards, bit of an extreme closeup, I know. If anybody wants to tweak that, go ahead. ![]() ![]() Enjoy! |

Yeah, it's an interesting antique look and unique set. I think it's the peephole look in the player pic that's the major drawback. Anyone following the excellent link you provided can easily see your intention, but the comparison is inevitable. Must be a way to shrink those portraits down somehow, and it's beyond my skill set.
A great idea, but I can't shake the thought of those cow, frog, whatever, wooden cut-outs at a carnival you stick your head through for the pic. Great effort, 70's, but I know you're shooting for something even higher. No offense, just a possible explanation. ![]()

Ah, cool, thanks! I actually tried that, but couldn't get it lined up right. Credit that man with an assist!
