Create A Prospect 2!

Hey everyone! I saw that a bunch of people were on the waiting list for Jeffy25's original Create A Prospect thread (including myself), so I'm going to start a new one with the 2012 season. This idea is solely Jeffy's, and I don't want to take that away from him, so if you want to see the original idea, go here- Jeffy25's Create A Prospect thread.

The information I will need is the same here as for him:
Name:

Nickname (If you really want one):

High School or College, and birthday (don't need year, just month and date):

Note - college players will be better right now (10%), but could have less potential in the long run (-2%)

Hometown (needs to be a real place):

Uniform Number:

Personality Attribute, pick 1-200 in each of the following, totals equal up to 600 combined:

Leadership:
Desire for Winner:
Loyalty:
Greed:
Work Ethic:
Intelligence:


Height:
Weight:
Bats :R/L/S
Throws: R/L
Position/Role (if you pick a position player, select a primary, and then two secondary positions):

For your proneness to injuries, I will do a random dice roll between 1-20. Pick a number. If you are:
spot on-> 1 for all proneness
1-5 off-> 40 for all proneness
6-10 off-> 80 for all proneness
11-14 off-> 120 for all proneness
15-18 off-> 160 for all proneness
19 off (nice one)-> 200 for all proneness
Numbers in the middle are obviously better, unless you're a gambling man.

If you choose a position player, then select from the following:

You may have potential ratings that total combined, up to 555 if you are a high schooler or 540 if a college player, ratings are 1-250 (1 min, 250 max):

And you must select current ratings, if in high school, will combine for a total of 200 current attribute points in each of the same selections as above, and 220 if in college:

Example would be as follows (high schooler):

Avoid K's: 30/85
Gap: 50/125

125 will be the default value for the positions you play, and for your speed ratings.


If you select a pitcher:
You get 3 pitches, pick those 3 pitches, one of them MUST be a fastball/sinker/cutter or knuckleball:

Say those three pitches, your choices are:
fastball
sinker
cutter
curveball
slider
changeup
splitter
forkball
circle change
screwball
knucklecurve
knuckleball

Then select a current/potential rating for each pitch that you select, and for movement and control as well:
If you are a high schooler, max potential has to be a combined 700 potential, or, if you are a college pitcher, a combined 685 for a college pitcher, and current ratings for a high schooler are 250 current, and if you are in college, it is 300

So an example would be:

Wow, I just noticed that everyone picked a different injury number!
And that 5 is a bit risky: that would be sweet though if you were spot on.

And Iain Craige because apparently people see Gap Power as not worth much..

I was 2 away from my injury number,
Jake Morrison was 12 off (because of that 5)
Iain Craige was 7 off from the injury number

Oh, and Jake? I changed his stamina to 7 once I realized how low rated he was. He's now a 62/80.
Iain was a bit off because the city search didn't have Willsboro. I typed in progressively 1 letter less until one in NY came up. That was the first one.

I think it's because instead of taking high-level prospects, or making new players, I just edited crappy pitchers in the draft pool. I never changed their expectations.

Contact is a mix of the different stats. your Batting Average on Balls In Play is high, but if you can't see the strikes (low Eye rating), then it's worth nothing.
